I am not one to tell stories and embellish the truth in stories of grandiosity. But I have one thing that I value above most. It is the belief that we should rise above and become unbound. From the chains of mediocrity, the ignorance of simple truths and arrogance.Â
It is not shared above by most and many will find this a bit insulting but if you don’t I appreciate your honesty.
Well, it has taken me a whole life lost to learn a lot of lessons that I now appreciate and formed a code upon, I did not know that I could be the person that I was. To be honest, I was a toxic person and a specimen for a recipe for disaster. The kind of flow-with-life guy and I was okay with that. It took losing people, friends and personal morals to have a candid conversation with myself and project the image of myself that I desire. To become unbound.
I know that I am singing to a tune that will not harbour any sentiment, but I have to say it for my peace.
Some of us out here are carrying trauma, heartaches, and wounds that never truly healed, some inflicted on us and others self-inflicted. I am one of them, and right now I can accept that and move on. It is important to make peace with your past and work today for a better day tomorrow. Otherwise, you will never be able to make any meaningful connections.
I am not saying that we are all carrying trauma and we should dig deep and find out what is wrong with us. Some of us are just pricks and others are just who they are, but that understanding is imperative. It is essential to find who you are, and if that reflects the person you want to be.
Acceptance is the initial step to healing.

ToggleHow Can I Change?
Change is an inevitable part of life, it is ever present and you always want to keep moving, evolving and morphing into better versions of yourself. If you look back, one year ago, 6 months ago or even a month ago and find that you are still the same person and nothing has changed, it’s time to start a really personal conversation.
Why am I saying this?
We are always building on to something or building out of something. Say you found out that you are an addict to either alcohol or gambling, you would want to quit and that is a process of change. So is getting into a habit of saving or being a better partner. So, change is unavoidable.
Personally, I can’t crown myself the expert on change and I am still learning and looking forward to getting there. So, I will offer my help in terms of inciteful reads that you should probably look into;
Advice Reads
1. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fuck by Mark Manson
This book will sound a bit contrary to the sense of change and more into not giving a fuck but once you give it a worthy read, I promise you will not be disappointed. It is a solid take on not giving fucks and becoming unbound to the chains that keep us away from change. In summary, I will say that you have to learn what fucks to give and not to give.
2. Atomic Habits by James Clear
To be able to change, we need habits. Either to form or reform those that we have made. It is a clear and concise guide to the process of change, and of all the books that I have read, this is the simplest and the surest guide.
